ANS : This is a security precaution we have taken - the idea comes to admin when you post - The Ideas team looks at it and post out just a teaser to the site so that no details are given out and yet it looks good and inviting to the viewers. FAQ 7 : What does an Idea Engineer do?
ANS : Works through the Ideation process to assist individuals or companies to more thoroughly work the process of taking an idea concept to a workable plan, developing specific components of the idea, identifying key relationships (vendors, manufacturers, talent, money, etc.), looking at prospective clients/users, addressing sales and marketing approaches/concepts, etc. In short the Idea Engineer helps pull the pieces of the idea together in a workable form for those who don’t have time to do so, lack certain skills and abilities, or who may be too close to the idea itself, to see the full potential of the idea.
FAQ 8 : How do you pay an Idea Engineer?
ANS : All fees are based on what the idea is and what the idea creator is looking for. The idea owner needs to come up with a basic RFP to request a fee structure for needed services. Perhaps this could be done through a basic RFP Worksheet found on the site that will guide the owner through the process of getting a Proposal back. A standard form business contract could be used to initiate the service, including provisions for terminating the contract by the Owner if the needed help isn’t materializing, or if the Idea Engineer isn’t getting paid. A portion of the compensation could be provided in a small percentage of ownership in the idea by the Idea Engineer/Ideas, thus producing residual income for both of us.
FAQ 9 : What’s the Value of Having an Idea Engineer to work with?
ANS : As the old saying goes, two heads are better than one. Ideas tend to flow from the wealth of experiences and interactions we all individually participate in as we grow older. Our perceptions can be become jaded, thus having more than one mind at work on a project—say as Team, will generate more ideas, concepts and opinions than just mind can deliver on its own. Albert Einstein used to say that some of his most brilliant thoughts came after a good argument, reading a good book, or just in talking to friends and associates—it’s the blending that makes the difference.
